BYOB: Bring Your Own Boobs Parties?
These new parties hosted by the nonprofit group “Best for Babes” bring a whole new meaning to BYOB.

Usually, when you see “BYOB” on a party invitation, you instantly know what it means: bring your own bottle (or a variation of booze, beer, boxed wine…). In other words, a “BYOB” on the invite means you are up for a great time.
But, there’s a new kind of BYOB party in town, where the last “B” stands for Boobz. These new parties launching this fall are the brainchild of the nonprofit group “Best for Babes.” Their mission is to group women who are breast-feeding together in order to give them support, factual information, and of course free swag only new mommies will love.

“The young moms out there, they’re attracted to humor and the inside joke,” Bettina Forbes, co-founder of Best for Babes tells AOL News. “This is something they can relate to — something fun that celebrates the whole joy of breast-feeding and changes the stereotype.”
Forbes’ goal in these BYOBoobz parties is to help women who are having difficulty breast-feeding, as well as dispel some common myths about the natural process. Guests who attend the first BYOBoobz party on Sept. 29 at Deva Spa in SoHo, NYC (or any BYOBoobz party thereafter), will receive the BYOBoobz kit that includes “”goodie bags, swag stuff and lots of fun,” Forbes says.
And here we thought BYOB parties were all about the alcohol. (AOL News)
